Rev. Kate Kooyman is an ordained pastor in the Reformed Church in America. She works for the Christian Reformed Church’s Office of Social Justice, where she has the opportunity to help educate congregations about immigration and empower Christians to advocate for a more just system. She also serves on the board of Treetops Collective, a Grand Rapids nonprofit helping refugee women put down roots and thrive in community.
